Bring it!

what will you regret? what will you change? ...and why put it out there?

Believe it or not, keeping your promises to yourself inspires others.  Your willingness to share
the steps you are taking toward the life you want to live will form a path for those who are still seeking.

In big ways and small, every single day we make promises to ourselves  to grow, change, transition.  Where are you growing?  What goal did you reach? What race did you win?   What project did you finish?

You have something in you that another person is looking for.
You have something to say that someone else needs to hear.

Would you be part of a collaborative exchange of ideas, inspiration, and motivation? Guest posts? Links to helpful articles on other sites? Meaningful photos? A gathering place of support and resources?

If so, start commenting.  Tell your story. Share your imagination. Tell us the link to your blog.  Write a note or a paragraph or a page.  Help shape this space.

Do we need to simplify our lives or organize our stuff? Sell it or donate it?

Should we stop spending and save or bargain hunt for deals?

Do we need to get up! get going! or slow down and breathe?

Are we taking steps in the "right" direction or stopping to smell the roses?

Are we moving toward goals or blooming where planted?

At the end of the day, does the stuff matter or the memories?

At the end of the road will you be surrounded by cherished people or cherished things?

when you reach the end of your journey... will you regret
not saving enough money?          not cleaning the house?
not mowing the lawn?             not being a size 8? 10? 12?
having a bad credit rating?         forgetting to dust the ceiling fans?
missing an episode of  Project Runway--Top Chef--Jersey Shore?
not giving that bad driver a piece of your mind? (well...maybe.)

or will you wish for one more moment to

move      run        laugh
       play     build
see        do       visit
      mold      create
love      listen      draw
    sing     touch     plant
guide   write     read
     watch      climb

              ?
... find something here that inspires you to make a promise to yourself.   Share what it was like before, how it is now, and where you are going from here.
                     we're waiting...

  1. I like the question "Are we moving toward goals or blooming where planted?"

I think the answer is both. IF we are blooming where planted (taking our lives every day, doing the best we can with what we have, filling each moment, being responsible in the present) then we ARE moving toward goals. The better I am right now, the better my future will be.
